Following a very tempestuous period in JOLIETTE’s decade-plus run as Mexico’s most brilliant screamo/hardcore/mathcore band, the chaos has settled and the new line-up is stronger than ever. Moving Gastón from bass to guitar and having him tackle all of the vocals was a huge ask, but these five new songs are both gorgeous and pummeling as well as sad and hopeful. Dropping two music videos (“Charlotte” and “Lemus”) prior to the EPs release and catapulting across Europe, JOLIETTE continues to prove why they are one of the hardest working, nicest, and incredible bands in existence.
