CLAY BIRDS - a separation of vanity (cassette)
CLAY BIRDS ‘a separation of vanity‘ cassette (ZB373)
For fans of: Febuary, Burial Etiquette, and 40ft To Go
The new EP from California’s CLAY BIRDS helps showcase why they are one of the hottest bands in the scene. The four-piece play a mixture of seething emo-violence and gorgeous emo/post-rock that brings to mind Febuary and Burial Etiquette. This release manages to perfectly balance the band’s Jekyll and Hyde personality, somehow merging the two into a sort of Jekyde beast that is both hideous and gorgeous simultaneously. This young group were exceptional at ZBR Fest 2025 and are comprised of very passionate and wonderful people. Easily one of the best EPs of the year, so don’t expect this stick around for long!
Cassettes /100: 50 birds drink coffee, 25 on yellow swirl, and 25 on purple swirl, each with j-card. 5 songs.
