This debut full length by Vancouver, Canada’s SMUSH is beyond exceptional. Soul-touching heavy shoegaze that hits hard yet retaining swirly/dreamy dynamics all slathered in gorgeous vocals. 12 tracks that range from earthquakes to lullabies and atmospheric interludes to ridiculously mature songwriting, this is bound to have at least one thing (if not numerous) to love. Riding on the singles/music videos of “lizzy mcguire” and “if we didn’t cry”, don’t think those fantastic jams are anomalies as ‘if you were here i'd be home now’ is littered with them. Take a gander on the Softseed Music Bandcamp and then race back here to snag a pre-order copy. These will be pressed late June with a shipping date of August 2024, with the final count being solidified after a week of pre-orders.

SMUSH has a release show tonight Saturday June 15th in Vancouver where ZBR/Softseed will be slinging some merch. Hope to see ya there!!!
